These are my abstract works and my most personal. I have been making these paintings for years, but only recently have begun to show them. They start with a feeling, a puzzle or a problem of some kind that I wish to better understand and explore. Going strictly on intuition, I allow that feeling to paint itself out on the canvas before me, moving and changing all on its own. I have a sense of working directly with energy; my only goal is to stay curious. Often, the changes I watch happening within the universe of the canvas carry over into my own life, informing and transforming me.
